USF Credit Union Helps Bring Christmas in July Magic to St. Joseph's Children's Hospital

The holiday spirit arrived a little early at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital as the Tampa Bay community came together for Christmas in July, and USF Credit Union was proud to be part of it.
As a sponsor of this year's event, USF Credit Union joined volunteers, community organizations, and donors at BayCare Arc in helping collect and unload thousands of toys that will bring joy to children throughout the year. While the event lasts one day, its impact extends far beyond July.
Every donation supports the hospital's Child Life Department, which uses therapeutic play, special celebrations, and comforting experiences to help children facing cancer, serious illnesses, injuries, and extended hospital stays. Those moments of joy can help reduce fear, ease anxiety, and remind children that they are, first and foremost, kids.
For the USF Credit Union team, the day put the credit union philosophy of People Helping People into action.
Whether serving members in our branches or serving our community through volunteerism, we believe that making a difference starts by showing up.
Team members spent the morning alongside fellow volunteers unloading toys and donations while helping prepare for the hospital's annual Christmas in July Grand Finale.
USF Credit Union extends its gratitude to every volunteer and donor whose generosity helps create brighter days for children all year long.
